Position Overview:
ASL Recruitment Ltd is representing a reputable manufacturing firm with over four decades of expertise in the industry. They focus on high-precision machined components and assemblies across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter/Programmer to enhance their dedicated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings to set machines accurately.
- Ensure machines are calibrated to meet specified tolerances.
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee that all components meet rigorous standards.
- Perform tool changes and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and assist as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC milling setting and programming.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming and Fanuc systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering and machining principles.
- Ability to program directly from technical drawings.
- Competent in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:
- Competitive salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 based on experience.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm, and Friday, 8 am - 1 pm.
