As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the PACU specialty and be an active RN license holder. In this role, you will be responsible for providing short-term care to patients immediately following surgery, from 30 minutes to several hours post-op. This includes regularly taking vitals, ensuring proper breathing, and administering oxygen or pain medication when necessary.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU setting
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
