We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- At least 1 year of RN clinical experience in a Critical Care setting (ICU)
- 3-5 years of ICU RN experience preferred
- 2 Years of Critical Care ICU/Cardiovascular RN experience strongly preferred
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
- Proficient computer skills required
