Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and motivated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Medical Department at Personalcare. This role involves full-time engagement in a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will oversee and assess nursing care in alignment with our organizational philosophy, objectives, and standards.

Sign-On Bonus: We are pleased to offer a substantial sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Available Shifts: Opportunities exist for full-time day and evening shifts, as well as part-time evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with established nursing standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring treatment services to prevent misuse or redundancy of services.
  • Consulting with the Health Services Administrator and Nurse Supervisor regarding any concerns.
  • Evaluating and recommending strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assisting in the coordination and facilitation of monthly healthcare staff meetings.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
  • Maintaining precise records of controlled substances and adhering to legal regulations.
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients.
  • Conducting assessments and offering provisional diagnoses for minor health issues.
  • Documenting patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, contributing to nursing care plans.
  • Implementing treatment plans aimed at promoting and restoring patient well-being.
  • Conducting vital sign assessments and comprehensive evaluations for all patients in the medical unit.

This position includes a comprehensive orientation period, allowing for on-the-job training and mentorship with experienced nursing staff.

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse position is fast-paced and requires an individual capable of multitasking with strong patient assessment skills. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license in the state of New York. Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating clinical proficiency
  • Building trust and rapport with patients
  • Relevant education and experience may be considered
  • Experience in healthcare delivery systems is advantageous
