Maxana is seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of our next-generation automated infrastructure using the Infrastructure as a Code model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the architecture of our next-generation automated infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain container-native CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop tools and automation to improve system observability, availability, and reliability.
  • Design and implement an observability stack for our infrastructure, including system and application alerts, security controls, and cost management.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and participate in blameless postmortems.
  • Envision, implement, and roll out the best DevOps tooling and automation for all our services.
  • Mentor other engineers, define our technical culture, and help build a fast-growing team.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
  • Strong experience in maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and container orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Kubernetes certifications or relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.
  • Knowledge of one of Python, Shell, Go, or Java.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Deep working knowledge of Linux servers and networking.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, including DataDog, ELK, and Prometheus.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools, such as Gitlab CI, Argo Workflow, and Argo CD.
  • Experience with modern cloud development practices, including microservices architectures and REST interfaces.
  • Experience in managing distributed systems, such as Kafka, Scylla, and Cassandra.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing landscapes.

This is a remote position, and we are looking for someone who is a strong believer in being hands-on and adaptable.
