Position Summary:
The Supportive Care Assistant plays a vital role in assisting the Nursing Department and staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare unoccupied beds for residents.
  • Label residents' clothing and personal items.
  • Manage the distribution of personal and facility laundry.
  • Assist with clearing dishes in the dining area.
  • Transport and escort residents to various locations within the facility.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Note: The Supportive Care Assistant does not provide or assist with direct resident care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills with residents and their families.
  • Willingness to learn infection control procedures.
  • Demonstrated patience and courtesy.
