About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Quiddity. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design and management of various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform engineering assignments with clear objectives and specifications.
  • Lead design tasks on multiple transportation projects, collaborating with senior staff to ensure high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement quality work products and designs, receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers-in-training, designers, and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with engineering conditions, laws, and permitting requirements, including city, state, and county entities.
  • Participate in design meetings and interact with clients at your level of experience, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Work closely with client managers to develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • May require field-based activities, such as coordination with construction services, inspections, and site reviews with client groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of design engineering experience, preferably working on municipal infrastructure projects and/or county and state roadway projects.
  • FE required; PE in progress.
  • Valid TX driver's license and insurable driving record.
