Shift End Time: 05:00 AM
Shifts Per Week: 4
Scheduled Hours: 40
Hourly Rate: $33 to $48
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (External candidates only)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in compliance with established protocols, ensuring the best patient care and outcomes. You will play a vital role in delivering timely, accurate imaging services that assist in diagnosing and treating patients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams, and ensure patient comfort.
- Use AIDET communication techniques to establish rapport with patients and their families.
- Position patients, adjust equipment, and monitor patient conditions during exams.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment, reporting any issues as needed.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection-control policies and sterile techniques.
- Manage accurate patient records and documentation following exams.
- Take call as required and respond promptly to urgent requests.
- Collaborate with engineers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging services.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Must be registered in one of the following:
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (OB/GYN, AB, BR, MSK, RVT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S) or (BS)
- Cardio Credentialing International (CCI) (RVS)
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
