We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Practice Manager to join our team at USPI Worcester Surgery Center. As a Medical Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our surgical center, ensuring that we provide the highest quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and attention.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Manage the center's budget and resources, ensuring that we operate within our means.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current MA Nursing License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in pre-operative and PACU nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
  • Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
  • Excellent teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and fellow employees.
