Job Summary

As a Polysomnographic Technician II at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a vital role in our Sleep Center team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to perform basic polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under the direct supervision of our clinical director or medical director.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
  • Oversee and perform difficult and unusual procedures and therapeutic interventions.
  • Follow procedural protocols and demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
  • Complete assigned goals and contribute to the success of our team.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited educational program in polysomnography or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist, or Registry Eligible in Sleep and must challenge the BRPT Exam of hire/transfer to be eligible to remain in the PSG II job classification.
