Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor to provide vital mental health services within a supportive environment in Queen Anne's, Maryland.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals and families through comprehensive counseling and training initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver impactful 30-minute one-on-one consultations with parents during home visits, offering guidance and support.
  • Conduct engaging mental health development training sessions for staff members on a quarterly basis, fostering their knowledge and skills.
  • Lead parent group sessions and provide comprehensive training to staff members, promoting collaborative learning and best practices.
  • Provide individualized supervision to each staff member quarterly, offering valuable suggestions and resources to enhance their client interactions.
  • Prepare and distribute informative mental health newsletters to parents on a quarterly basis, keeping them informed about relevant topics and support services.
  • Assemble and distribute mental health bags to clients, providing essential tools and resources to aid in their well-being.
  • Actively participate in at least two family engagement events annually, strengthening community connections and fostering a supportive network.
Qualifications:
  • Hold an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from the State of Maryland.
  • Possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling or a closely related field.
