Job Summary

Estate Landscape is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for climbing trees in excess of 80 feet in height, performing tree trimming tasks at considerable heights, and coordinating body movements with tasks to be performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Climb trees using flip lines, spurs, and ropes
  • Perform tree trimming tasks at heights above 80 feet
  • Coordinate body movements with tasks to be performed
  • Select and apply knowledge appropriate to job tasks
  • Communicate clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrate rigging and knot-tying skills
  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Learn new methods and techniques
  • Make independent decisions
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Tree Climber who has knowledge of knots used in tree trimming work, proper cuts used for felling trees and limb removal, safety regulations and practices, appropriate rigging procedures, diverse types of climbing methods, pruning techniques, and rope strengths in conjunction with wood weights.
