Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tree Trimmer - Climber Trainee to join our team at Wright Tree Service. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for trimming and removing trees, operating equipment, and ensuring the safety of our employees and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tree Trimming and Removal: Trim and remove trees using climbing equipment, ladders, and powered trimmer lift trucks.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate trucks, wood chippers, and other equipment as assigned.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Safeguard employees and the public from hazards, maintain equipment, and report any issues to the crew lead.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and represent Wright Tree Service in a professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees on proper procedures and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 months of experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews, or successful completion of applicable performance reviews.
  • Safety Training: Enforce on-the-job safety practices and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license, herbicide applicator or operator's certification, and First-Aid and CPR cards.
