At Lund Inc, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs, including troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair complex machines, including electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime through data-driven analysis.
- Manage the CMMS system, creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts.
- Assist with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
- Mentor maintenance technician I employees on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous forklift experience required; 5+ years of experience preferred.
- 3 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
Physical Requirements:
- This position is subject to Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Physical Activities: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.
