Job Title: Transportation Team Lead

Join Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care, as a Transportation Team Lead at our award-winning, gated retirement community in Springfield, Virginia.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to lead our transportation team. The Transportation Team Lead will be responsible for coordinating the usage of motor vehicles in the community motor pool, including fleet maintenance records, vehicle inspections, and repairs. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles for use and ensure they are available and ready when required
  • Log and track vehicle usage
  • Assist with the transporting of residents and staff with or without wheelchairs
  • Help maintain the daily transportation schedule and enter billing into the work order system
  • Assist with daily supervisory functions
  • Ensure driver work schedules are prepared and monitor requests for changes
  • Assist with minor repairs on vehicles as appropriate

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • One to three years' experience in transportation services
  • Office experience is preferred
  • A current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class C (or higher) with Passenger endorsement is required (CDL –P licensure)
  • A current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate
