Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job DescriptionA primary care nurse practitioner provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing acute episodic and chronic illnesses while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Services may include ordering, conducting, supervising, and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescribing pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting. A Master's degree in Nursing is required, with a focus on family or adult-gerontology primary care.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, life and disability insurance, privileges at Boston Medical Center for providers, 401(K) retirement plan, educational assistance, flexible spending and transportation accounts, paid holidays, vacations, sick and personal time, a generous staff development benefit, excellent malpractice coverage, and free parking.
