Weekend Sign Placement Specialist

Artisan Direct, Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sign Placer. This part-time role involves placing and retrieving temporary directional signs along road-sides during weekends, operating as an Independent Contractor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically deploying and collecting our signs in designated areas to ensure maximum visibility and impact. Key responsibilities include:
- Installing signs from 6PM on Fridays to 9AM on Saturdays.
- Retrieving signs late Sunday from 6pm till Monday morning.
- Learning and applying proper sign placement techniques as per location requirements.
- Following a pre-approved route map for efficient navigation and sign placement, under the guidance of the Territory Manager.
- Reporting and requesting replacements for any sign losses by Monday at 8am each week.
- Ensuring coverage by arranging a qualified backup for weekends you are unavailable.
- Storing all signs safely when not in use.
- Possessing a reliable vehicle that can accommodate all signs.
- Demonstrating initiative and a sense of ownership over your business and territory.
- Maintaining effective communication through mobile phone and email.
We offer comprehensive training and support, ensuring you are well-prepared for the role. Compensation is competitive, based on the number of signs placed and collected each weekend. Payments are made bi-weekly.
A signing bonus is paid after your first weekend. We value a positive attitude, a keenness to learn, and an enjoyment of outdoor work.
