Position Overview

Insight Global is currently in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in hydroelectric systems. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance our power generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Reviewing and providing critical feedback on electrical design drawings for hydro power projects.
  • Ensuring compliance and functionality across all components of hydro power generation systems.
  • Demonstrating expertise in areas such as cable tray systems, arc flash analysis, grounding techniques, motor control centers (MCC), transformers, switchgear, and bus designs.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 8 to 20 years of experience in electrical engineering focused on power generation.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in reviewing designs related to power generation components.
  • Local candidates are preferred for on-site collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having a Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
