This is an entry-level position within the Accounting department at InfoCision Management Corp. where you will assist in preparing financial reporting, which summarizes company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the preparation of financial forecasting, planning, development, and preparation of budgets.
  • Aids in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Assists in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Identifies opportunities and assists in implementing process improvements.
  • Performs bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and supports the closing function.
  • Supports the daily cash reporting and balances cash accounts.
  • Performs various account analyses as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (BA); BSBA in Accounting/Finance.
  • General working knowledge of General Acceptable Accounting Principles.
  • Must have strong work experience using Microsoft Office Products.
  • Must possess the ability to work virtually or in the Akron, Ohio physical location as external and business circumstances permit.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with strong task management, operating with a high sense of urgency.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using both verbal and written means for hours at a time.
  • Ability to read, listen, and verbally communicate for hours at a time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to multi-task, completing deadlines and managing trainees' actions simultaneously.
  • Ability to confidently and professionally present information effectively in group, one-on-one, or small group situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written material, understand performance metrics, and data.
  • Ability to respond effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing, to questions from employees, supervisors, company leadership, clients.
  • Act with diplomacy, poise, and tact while handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Possess understanding of technical processes/protocol to troubleshoot and resolve applicant concerns.
  • Has working knowledge and understanding of core InfoCision standards and quality expectations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and InfoCision-based platforms.
  • Use equipment such as, but not limited to: headsets, telephones, computers, and other office equipment (as needed).
  • Respond appropriately and professionally to feedback and strives to make immediate and lasting change.
  • Must be able to work at home or in the Akron, Ohio brick and mortar (if applicable).
