Epic System Coordinator Specialist

Job Summary: As a key member of our IT team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, we are seeking an experienced Epic System Coordinator Specialist to join our dynamic group. This critical role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- As primary support contact, you will coordinate all questions and issues for applications supported, providing timely resolutions that meet customer satisfaction expectations.
- You will resolve tickets efficiently, achieving high scores on customer feedback while maintaining excellent communication skills.
- The successful candidate will establish and manage change control procedures for supported applications, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions.
- This position requires participation in 24-hour coverage for system users, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving system problems effectively.
- You will analyze new functionality in software releases, determining how best to leverage new features to enhance our services.
- In this role, you will coordinate software updates and changes with users, reviewing documentation to understand requirements and collaborating with vendors as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have strong business relationship management skills, evaluating, planning, and developing/re-engineering current or new system functionality to meet evolving customer needs.
- You will participate in projects as assigned, working independently to complete tasks within established timelines using project management methodologies.
- A significant aspect of this position involves developing and documenting internal procedures, assisting with training, and serving as a department resource and mentor.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience supporting the applicable application is required. Strong communication and follow-up skills, familiarity with processes in clinical or financial departments, and attention to detail are essential.
- We seek candidates with four years' certified Epic experience supporting an Epic or other applicable application, demonstrating expertise in system coordination and support.
