About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Child & Family Resources. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the upkeep and repair of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and clients.

Job Summary
  • Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, plastering, and appliance servicing systems in main facility and satellite offices.
  • Assist with outdoor landscaping maintenance for all sites.
  • Help install, repair, and maintain lighting, doors, cabinets, flooring, etc.
  • Assist with interior and exterior painting and surface repairs as needed.
  • Support the stocking, unloading, and delivery of supplies.
  • Complete work orders assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Setup conference rooms for meetings as requested.
  • Regulate ventilation and temperature, clean air vents, and change air filters as required.
  • Run errands related to facilities as needed.
  • Serve as liaison with vendors when the Facilities Manager is unavailable.
  • Move and assemble furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform routine checks of restrooms, kitchens, and conference rooms for cleanliness at all sites.
  • Cleanup areas as necessary.
  • Assist with monthly safety and maintenance checks of assigned areas.
  • Report any hazardous conditions or unusual circumstances that may affect staff and public safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, health, and safety measures.
  • Experience in general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical duties.
  • Familiarity with various maintenance and repair concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and implement both oral and written instructions.
  • Problem-solving skills to complete service-related issues.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff.
  • Travel within the state may be required.
  • Compliance with agency and program policies, including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
  • Meet performance and productivity standards.
  • Attend required agency and program meetings.
  • Adhere to scheduled tasks agreed upon with the supervisor.
  • Model CFR's core values.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Level one fingerprint card.
  • A valid Arizona driver's license, vehicle, and meeting agency liability insurance requirements.
Estimated Salary

$18.50 per hour.
