Job Title: Care Coordinator/Assistant Director of Resident Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Coordinator/Assistant Director of Resident Services to join our team at SR COMPANIES LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also overseeing the daily operations of the Resident Services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including scheduling, organizing, and managing their healthcare maintenance and treatment.
  • Assist in reviewing new associate applications, checking references, and interviewing applicants for the best possible hire.
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions as required or requested.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Assist in monitoring expenditures and ensuring compliance with department budgeted monthly amounts.
  • Prepare and post staff schedules in a timely fashion.
  • Understand and adhere to ALF regulations pertaining to assisted living healthcare laws.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment free of objects or situations that could cause harm or falls to residents, families, visitors, and associates.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Valid Virginia Nursing License.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
