We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our Palm Beach, Florida team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architectural design, project leadership, and client engagement. As a Senior Architect at Northworks, you will lead major projects across all phases of the design and construction process, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to firm-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the design and execution of complex architectural projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and present high-level design proposals, renderings, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits and oversee all phases of construction administration to ensure design integrity and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams of 1-3 architects or designers to generate innovative solutions and ensure cohesive design execution.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, actively participating in team brainstorming sessions and sharing knowledge across project teams.
  • Support team members in navigating challenges, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with the project's overall vision.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers, fostering their professional growth and technical development.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives by sharing best practices and participating in studio-wide knowledge-sharing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in architectural design, project management, and leadership roles.
  • Architectural license is required.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse project types, including residential, commercial, and hospitality.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of design practices, building codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in an in-person office setting.
