Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pricer, Wares to join our team at Alabama Goodwill Industries Inc. As a Pricer, Wares, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% donor and customer delight by pricing merchandise using our baseline price guide and special price items of exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort donations into salable, salvage, and trash categories and place non-salable apparel, shoes, or handbags into salvage containers.
  • Price merchandise using our baseline price guide; special price items of exceptional value.
  • Keep abreast of merchandise knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing.
  • Keep pricing area clean and organized.
  • Transport merchandise to sales floor, stock shelves, display, and rotate merchandise, and perform mark-downs in compliance with agency policy.
  • Transport trash to compactor/dumpster and operate compactor as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Preferably candidate with knowledge of antiques and collectibles.

Additional Information:

  • Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extensive periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
