Job Title: Design Packing Engineer (DMU Lead)

This role involves designing and integrating vehicle systems, ensuring efficient packaging and layout. You will work closely with our team to conceptualize and detail design vehicle systems, meeting cost, weight, and functional targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate vehicle systems, including packaging and layout
  • Conduct packaging investigations and DMU reviews
  • Prepare GCIE vehicle level drawings and manage variants
  • Conceptualize and detail design vehicle systems, meeting cost, weight, and functional targets
  • Analysis design for assembly, service, and manufacturing processes
  • Ensure compliance with vehicle design and release gateways
  • Provide timely communication about issues and development to the reporting manager
Requirements:
  • 7-12 years of experience in DMU, vehicle architecture, and packaging concepts
  • Good knowledge of commercial vehicle systems integration and packaging
  • Hands-on experience in Digital Mock Up (DMU) and vehicle layouts
  • Excellent knowledge of Creo/Windchill/PLM/CAVA
  • Good understanding of vehicle design and release gateways
