Job SummaryThis role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for supervision of staff and ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective total nursing care to all patients.
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- Administer medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
