Forklift Driver Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations team at JobsRUs. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning
  • Assist in inventory management by accurately recording movement of materials
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of Forklift experience - MUST have experience with Reach Trucks
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes in a distribution center setting

Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday or Sunday through Friday, with three separate shifts available: 6 a.m., 2 p.m., and 10 p.m.
