Executive Pastry Artisan

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at LaBelle Winery. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for pastry arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Manage the pastry section of our kitchen, working closely with other chefs to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
• Train and guide pastry assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with other chefs to coordinate dessert offerings with our main menu.
• Ensure the bakery section of our kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of sanitation and nutrition.

• 4+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef, with a strong background in pastry techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation.
• Certificate in culinary arts or a related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
• Strong passion for pastry arts, with a creative flair and ability to develop new dessert concepts.

• Ability to walk/stand for long periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food/wine environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Full-time position, with a competitive salary range of $59-60k annually based on experience.
