Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Cardiovascular Lab team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a RN CV Observation, you will provide patient care for patients pre, post, and sometimes interim procedures. You will administer medications, including moderate sedation, assess patient, coordinate care of patient, and educate patient and family post procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, including moderate sedation, and assess patient needs.
  • Coordinate care of patient, including pre, post, and interim procedures.
  • Provide education to patient and family post procedure.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a school of nursing.
  • Current RN License or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire date.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in ICU, ER, PCU or telemetry required.
  • Previous cardiovascular lab, perioperative, or procedural area experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
