Job Summary

Colonial Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Foreman to join our team at our liquid handling facilities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our liquid handling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and inspect daily activities to ensure employees are producing quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Evaluate performance of maintenance staff and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain quality and service standards, and facilitate weekly safety meetings.
  • Participate in large capital projects with the Maintenance Department Manager and Project Manager.
Requirements
  • 10 years total industrial maintenance experience with 5+ years' experience as a Senior Mechanic.
  • Excellent personal and people leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and contractors.
  • Experience with large industrial facilities, including refineries and mid-stream terminals with numerous piping and pump systems that handle hazardous liquids.
  • Proficient in computing systems and skills, including Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites as required, and work outdoors in all conditions.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
