About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at NeurAbilities Healthcare. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy plans in a 1:1 setting with clients in clinics, homes, and schools.
  • Collect data and maintain client program books and materials.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
  • Assist clients in developing independent daily living, social, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide effective treatment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience working with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to communicate well and thrive in individual and team environments.
  • Ability to remain patient and calm when encountering challenging behaviors.
