NVIDIA Holoscan serves as a versatile AI computing platform designed for the development of GPU-accelerated applications tailored for computational instruments, ranging from microscopes to telescopes, facilitating real-time discoveries and insights. As an AI Applications Specialist, your primary focus will be on promoting the integration of Holoscan across diverse sectors and industries, collaborating closely with product teams and industry leaders to create AI-enhanced sensor processing applications. If you are passionate about developing real-time data processing solutions, integrating AI, and connecting them to advanced AI supercomputing resources, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients or developers to adapt or connect their applications to Holoscan.
  • Analyze application performance and conduct benchmarks to demonstrate the product's advantages.
  • Create examples or sample applications for instructional purposes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on technical papers and work with marketing on promotional content.
  • Participate in and present at workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in developing real-time sensor processing applications with a strong emphasis on a specific domain (scientific computing, instrumentation, test & measurement, defense).
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating AI inferencing applications utilizing frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with scientific computing tools, including MATLAB, LabView, or SciPy.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Practical experience in developing GPU-based real-time applications, particularly in managing high bandwidth and low-latency input/output.
  • Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Slurm or Kubernetes.
  • Contributions to open-source software initiatives.
