Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in the greater Atlanta Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments, performing routine examinations, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in family medicine or primary care practice is preferred.
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
