Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct interventions to protect patients from healthcare-associated infections

  • Serve as a catalyst for change and actively involved in change management development for infection prevention
  • Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of the multi-disciplinary program for surveillance, prevention, and control of infections at AdventHealth

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a school of nursing, medical technology, public health, or another healthcare-related field
  • Associate's degree with 0 years of experience or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field with at least 1 year of clinical experience
  • Certification in Infection Control or CIC eligible, highly preferred
  • Current, valid license as a registered professional nurse, medical technologist, respiratory therapist, or other clinical area

AdventHealth East Orlando is a 265-bed community hospital that has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941. The hospital has undergone a recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project, upgrading it to 265 beds with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience.
