About the Role:

Carl Albert State College is seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruiting/Admissions Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our admissions department, you will play a vital role in promoting the college and recruiting new students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and engage prospective students
• Communicate with prospective students, their families, and the community through various channels
• Represent the college at college fairs, high school visits, and community agencies
• Assist with the planning and implementation of recruitment events
• Provide campus tours and information sessions
• Support the admissions process for incoming students
• Manage the CRM database and analyze recruitment data

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in public speaking and presentation skills
• Experience in promotion, sales, and marketing (preferred)
