Northrop Grumman, a leading developer of innovative solutions for the defense industry, is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Warfare Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining the Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM) Electronic Warfare product line, ensuring its optimal performance and functionality.
Responsibilities- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment as required.
- Provide technical support to resolve system-level problems reported by customers on delivered hardware.
- Analyze and evaluate products and related performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in the most efficient manner possible.
- Install, upgrade, and remove products while ensuring coordinated engineering field changes are implemented.
- Maintain effective customer communications and relations, interacting independently with customers to address their needs.
- May provide onsite training to customer support personnel, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
- A minimum of 6 years relevant experience, including Unix/Linux command-line use and test equipment experience (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meter).
- Ability to apply scientific principles, theories, and concepts to real-world problems.
- Electronic and/or RF experience is essential, with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
- Physical demands include frequently moving and positioning objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with the ability to work 2nd shift.
- Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- U.S. military electronic school in electronic warfare and/or radar.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Electronic Warfare experience is highly desirable.
The estimated salary range for this role is $74,900 - $124,800 per annum, reflecting the complexity of the responsibilities and the requirements for the successful candidate.
