Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Digital Media Design to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in digital media, including graphic design, computer-aided design, and photography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in digital media, including graphic design, computer-aided design, and photography
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in digital media
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in graphic design, computer-aided design, and photography
  • Strong teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
  • Flexibility to teach a variety of courses and schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
  • Knowledge of digital media software and technologies
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum in a competency-based instructional system
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be required to teach a variety of courses, including day, evening, and weekend classes. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
