Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
  • Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
  • Utilize effective techniques to assist in normalizing motor activity and learning.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
  • Previous orthopedic and outpatient experience required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple work sites.
