Key Responsibilities:
  • Complex Litigation Matters: Handle a wide range of complex litigation matters, including intellectual property disputes and commercial litigation cases.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Document Preparation: Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Discovery and Depositions: Prepare and respond to discovery requests, conduct depositions, and assist with witness preparation.
  • Court Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Admission to the bar in Illinois is required.
  • Additional Bar Admission: Admission to the bar in the Central District of California, New York, or Florida is a significant plus.
  • Litigation Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in litigation, with a focus on IP litigation preferred.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Time Management: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
