We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator/Supervisor RN to join our team at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. As a leading provider of health services in Wake County, we are committed to delivering outstanding and compassionate care to our community.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Educator/Supervisor RN will assist the unit manager in supervising, coordinating education, and managing nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services. This role requires proficiency and efficiency in all aspects of PACU care and supports the PAT Clinic, Pre-Op, and PACU areas of Surgical Services.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate education for nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies.
- Assist the unit manager in managing nursing personnel and ensuring the delivery of patient care services.
- Provide expertise in PACU care and support the PAT Clinic, Pre-Op, and PACU areas of Surgical Services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a nursing-related area.
- 1 year of experience in Clinical-Surgical Services (preferred).
- Education in Teaching and Facilitation of Learning (required).
- Leadership experience (preferred).
You will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
- Registered Nurse licensure (required).
- National Certification in Nursing (required within 1 year of hire).
