The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Sentara Healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a System-Wide Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, providing exceptional care to patients across the system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Stepdown Intermediate Care, rotating shifts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
