Registered Nurse System-Wide Permanent Traveler Premium Pay Opportunity

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Sentara healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a System-Wide Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings across the organization, developing your skills and expertise while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, providing individualized care and attention to their unique needs
- Round checks and medication administration, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams, fostering a collaborative and compassionate environment
- Take ownership of patient care, making informed decisions and taking initiative to address any concerns or issues that arise
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a specific specialty
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire, depending on the specific clinical area
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and satisfaction
