Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northwest Regional Education Service District. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care for students, formulate and implement health care plans, conduct student health assessments, and collaborate with families and medical professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care for students, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Formulate and implement health care plans for students, taking into account their medical history, current health status, and educational needs
  • Conduct student health assessments, including physical exams, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging
  • Collaborate with families and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students
  • Participate in IEP/IFSP processes and provide consultation in educational settings regarding school health needs
Requirements:
  • Valid Oregon license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in the use of computer systems and software applications
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED card, epinephrine and glucagon certificates
  • Experience working in a hospital, community, or home health clinical setting preferred
  • Experience working in K-12 school-setting preferred
  • Bilingual and bicultural skills in common languages to NWRESD preferred
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle available for use on the job
