Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team at Ridgeway Post Acute. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and implementing a variety of recreational and social activities for our residents, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities- Plan and lead recreational activities and events for residents, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and outings
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in a positive and supportive manner
- Maintain activity supplies and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and in good working condition
- Collaborate with the activities director and other staff members to develop and implement engaging activity programs
- Provide one-on-one support and assistance to residents who may need additional help participating in activities
- Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for planning and leading activities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Competitive salary ($40,000 - $60,000 per year)
