Job Summary

As a Musculoskeletal Care Specialist at the UT Health Austin Musculoskeletal Institute, you will provide high-quality outpatient and occasional inpatient care to patients seeking diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. You will work collaboratively with licensed surgical and non-surgical physicians to develop and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide quality care, conduct diagnostic testing, and administer appropriate treatments by following evidence-based care
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans
* Counsel patients on clinical issues and treatment plans
* Develop strong working relationships with referring providers
* Participate in ongoing quality assurance audits and provide real-time feedback to improve patient care
* Develop and deliver patient education materials
* Use available tools to track patient progress and coordinate care across the care continuum

Requirements

This role requires a strong working knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
