Injection Molding Technician and Mold Setter Opportunities Available
Position Summary:
- Accountable for diagnosing and resolving challenges associated with vacuum forming, adhesive application, or injection molding operations, along with the relevant machinery.
- Document and relay findings to fellow Process Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, and Shift Supervisors regarding troubleshooting efforts and any necessary deviations from standard operating procedures.
- Oversee the Maintenance Technician's mold change program, ensuring proper loading and setup, while also verifying that Operators conduct first shot inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure that molding machines are calibrated to the appropriate process specifications to produce parts that meet quality criteria established by Process Engineers.
- Proficient in troubleshooting injection molding machines, robotic systems, material feeding mechanisms, and End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) - including Engel, Krauss Maffei, and Husky machinery.
- Experience with Kuka robotics is advantageous.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime while producing acceptable quality parts.
- Responsible for mold setup.
