Job Title: Vice President of Compliance

Mariner Finance is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our compliance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Mariner's products, services, and strategies.
  • Lead the development of compliance monitoring and testing programs, and provide reviews and updates for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Ensure all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications are reviewed and approved by required parties before release.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to ensure Mariner's consumer marketing programs are in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in compliance within the consumer financial services industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in overseeing, developing, and implementing compliance policies and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading through change, executing on major initiatives, and leading cross-departmental work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
