Job SummaryThe Production Sorter plays a crucial role in preparing, sorting, tagging, and hanging donations for the sales floor. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to meeting daily production goals, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, price, tag, and hang donated goods in preparation for stocking the sales floor
- Ensure quality of merchandise and pre-sort items for salvage
- Meet daily production goals of at least 5 racks, 100 pieces per rack or team goal as approved
- Perform daily and nightly recovery of sales floor
- Assist customers by answering questions and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain compliance with safety and housekeeping practices and expectations
- Maintain a professional and flexible attitude; willing to take on different job responsibilities
- Promote the mission and values of Goodwill
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail, production, warehouse, material handling, or customer service experience preferred

Work Environment:
