We are seeking a highly qualified High School Math Tutor to join our team of educators.
Job Summary:
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited educational institution, is looking for a skilled Mathematics Instruction Specialist to provide academic support to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face instruction to students in math topics through Algebra 2.
- Utilize various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations to accelerate student learning.
- Differentiate math instruction for students based on their individual needs and adapt lesson plans as required.
- Use student data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Meet the minimum requirement of two years of experience in tutoring or teaching math subjects.
- Be available to work during the school day, approximately 8 a.m.—3 p.m., five days a week.
- Pass a proficiency exam in the subject area(s) to be tutored.
- Successfully complete a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.
- Participate in paid pre-service training and in-service professional development opportunities.
- Be proficient in navigating various hardware and software technology and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and proactively approach work to complete deliverables on time.
