Construction Inspector II-OSP

Windstream is seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating the design, permitting, material acquisition, construction, and tie-in of outside plant construction projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer service is activated efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Manage complex circuit installations via SMB Fiber to the premise delivery.
- Develop construction bid documents and bid analysis.
- Complete and secure city, state, and county permit applications.
- Monitor contractor progress, contractor quality inspection, and timely turnover of assigned projects.
- College degree in Engineering or a related field and 0-2 years professional level experience.
- Or 4+ years professional level related Engineering/Technical experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience.
